I first discovered the fun relaxing environment that is Wilmington about 11 years ago on a trip to North Carolina. At that time we didn't stay long but I got the sense that this could be a pretty fun town but seemed to only have a "bar scene". We only stayed for the day so we didn't get much experience of the town.
Fast forward to 2008 when I visited the area and got to experience it more. I discovered there are a lot of cool things to do in the Wilmington - Wrightsville Beach area! I have been told that the scene in the area has grown a lot in the years since I first visited. Wilmington is an interesting unique and fun beach town. The music scene is thriving with a number of quality bands and groups. The downtown has come up a good deal in the last few years. The people are genuinely laid back, beautiful, and carefree. There are a lot of diverse things to do and the beach is nearby as well. So you can pretty much do it all there.

The nightclub/dance/music offerings are definitely coming along thanks to the wide variety of great Beach music, varying types of bands, and awesome Dj's. You can pretty much find your flavor in this beach town.
A lot bars (of course), great eateries, festivals like the Azalea Festival, and cool places / sights in the area as well. Places like Liquid Room, Front St. Brewery, Blue Water Grill, The Battleship North, the beach, a burgeoning MMA scene, and other cool spots and things around the area.

Needless to say, I have been coming the area more frequently , not only for business, but also because there are more options to entertain myself. Unitelive.com in Wilmington will be on the scene investigating more in-depth all these offerings & happenings and reporting back to you guys. We will also provide an outlet for any businesses, talent, people, etc. to express and promote what they do and are about.

We look forward to it!
